“Creating, Building, and Maintaining the Classroom Container”

A Multi-Part Series

This three-part professional development series, offered by the Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, is designed for actively practicing teaching artists seeking to strengthen their classroom presence, instructional clarity, and professional confidence. Using the concept of the “container” as both a personal and structural framework, participants will explore how identity, intentional practices, and responsive strategies create learning environments where creativity, safety, and accountability can coexist.
